Robotics & Automation
We drive equipment over Modbus, run the job queue and see downtime in data. We do not manufacture robots or machines — we write their software.
Where production automation stalls
The machine runs but lives apart from the rest of the shop. Jobs arrive on paper, readiness is checked on foot, and how long a batch actually took is estimated.
Second, cutting and preparation. The file is prepared in one program, the control program in another, material accounting in a third. Every hand-off is where time is lost and errors appear.
What we do
Equipment control
Polling controllers over Modbus, sending commands, reading status and counters.
CNC and nesting
Preparing control programs, nesting on material, accounting for remnants and offcuts.
Job queue
What is running, what is next, how long it really took. One screen in the shop instead of paper.
Downtime telemetry
Equipment stopped — visible immediately and with a reason. Unnoticed downtime is the expensive kind.
Link to the order
A production job is tied to a specific customer order rather than living in a separate list.
Reporting
Machine utilisation, actual time per batch, bottlenecks from data rather than intuition.
What it runs on
Modbus RTU/TCP, RS-485, industrial gateways. Node.js and PostgreSQL on the server, web panel, and C# on a tablet where control must happen at the machine. We do not manufacture robots or machines: our part is the software that drives and counts.

RS-485 on site: what breaks and why
Why an RS-485 bus works on the bench and fails on site: termination, ground loops, cable length, star wiring, noise, Modbus RTU timing. How to diagnose it.
Modbus: what it is and why your business should care
Plain explanation of Modbus RTU and TCP: how equipment exposes data, the difference between RTU and TCP, and what to do if your device does not support it.
