Energy & utilities
Metering and smart meters, real-time energy monitoring, anomaly alerts and savings recommendations — built on data straight from the equipment.
What hurts in energy and utilities
Meters are installed and the data exists, but the only way to read it is a walk-around. One inspector per district, monthly figures, and any anomaly — a leak, theft, a fault — surfaces weeks late.
Equipment from different suppliers, each with its own protocol. The dispatcher looks at several separate screens instead of one picture, and the consolidated report is assembled by hand in a spreadsheet.
What we do
Remote meter reading
Polling meters and controllers over Modbus, data delivered without a site visit.
Dispatcher panel
Equipment status, alarms and consumption per site on one screen.
Anomaly detection
Sharp spikes, zero consumption while equipment runs, mismatch between nodes — alerted immediately, not in the monthly report.
Working over poor links
Field sites often have unstable connectivity. Data buffers locally and backfills once the link returns.
History and reporting
Long-term storage, period comparison, export to accounting.
Integration with what exists
Connecting to installed equipment instead of replacing the infrastructure.
What it runs on
Modbus RTU and TCP, RS-485, industrial gateways, MQTT for event transport. Node.js and PostgreSQL on the server, web panel. We work with equipment already installed: replacement is only required when a device has no outward channel at all.

Answers on this topic
Plain explanations without marketing — useful even if you never hire us.
An IoT/SCADA platform for a small plant: what you need
Seven layers of an IoT/SCADA platform: Modbus RTU/TCP over RS-485, gateway, telemetry, history, alarms, phone. Offline buffering, Raspberry Pi, security, cost.
Telemetry where the link drops for hours
Telemetry where the mobile link drops for hours: store-and-forward, clock drift, deduplication, staleness on the dashboard, alerts that do not cry.
Modbus: what it is and why your business should care
Plain explanation of Modbus RTU and TCP: how equipment exposes data, the difference between RTU and TCP, and what to do if your device does not support it.
Raspberry Pi on site: when it is a sound choice
When a single-board computer next to the equipment is sober engineering, and when it becomes a source of night calls. Power, SD cards, temperature, updates.
